Another section of shingles has been completed. I don't think it's too busy but rather very detailed. All siding is up and it looks great! Putting the shingles on the roof.

The wood shakes are fire treated. See the copper rain gutters? We ran out of siding with one wall to go. It should be done in a few days.

The skylights have been put in all of the downstairs bedrooms and front entry. Francisco has his 10-year old son tag along and help while school is out. It's better than watching TV. Finishing up the stone on the upper chimney.

The blank white space will be cedar siding. Can you spot the hole for the electrical outlet? It's on the right side of the stone next to the fireplace. We're almost ready to cover the vertical posts. Cutting the stone for the chimney.

On the balcony outside the master bedroom, the final touches are put on the chimney. The copper trim and gutter looks great with this overlapping roof. The exterior is complete except for the white post.

The front door is mahogany and has 4 clear coats on it. The garage door is made of two types of mahogany, each with 4 clear coats. See the cloud-relief detail in the door panel.

The side door at the laundry room. See the cat door in the lower left? Only the balcony railing is left on the house. A full shot of the rear of the house.

The balcony roofs with rain gutters. VERY close to the tree. Another year or two should fix that. The balcony railing is starting to go in. See how the roof overlaps between the two balconies. Seven tons of Buckskin Flagstone patio stone was delivered...too bad it's the wrong stone. I ordered Golden Buckskin Flagstone.

Four pallets in total. The Golden Bucksin Flagstone was swapped out the next day. Notice the golden tone vs. the red tone of the regular Buckskin. Patio layout outside the bedroom.

The stone was wet down to clean off the dust. It sure brings out the color. Annie's having fun walking on the loose stones. The space left around the tree will be filled with crushed rock.
