Base of the chimney. The old patio is all cleaned out. I have a 1956 7-UP bottle and a marble that was found under the slab. Root infestation from the date palm tree.

All of these roots have to be removed by hand prior to foundation form work. Starting to dig outside the living room. Amy & Chinook in the living room.

Pavers from the side of the house. With the pavers gone, it's time to start digging for the foundation. I love this toy! It's a mini excavator.
