Craftsman Remodel Finish Photos - Interior
Master carpenter Dave Barlow was hired to only build the staircase, his specialty. He ended up doing 99% of the finish woodwork in the house before getting to the staircase a year later. The treads and handrail are Brazilian cherry and the balusters, newel posts, risers, and wainscot are Honduran mahogany. Notice how the risers and treads interlock like a puzzle on the sides.
